Why traditions are so important

During last 200 years kings were having tea with scrambled eggs for breakfast.
“Today I will have orange juice!” declared the king one day.
Everyone was surprised, the cook frowned, but a cup of orange juice appeared on the table. And the king just kept eating as if nothing had happened.
“What tidbits do we have today?”
“There is a meeting with an ambassador of neighbor king in the afternoon.”
“That’s not tidbits!” the king shrugged his shoulder and shed the orange juice.
Right onto the royal mouse which was walking by.
The royal cat was waiting for the mouse at the entrance. The mouse smelled like oranges. The cat snorted and jumped out of the window. Right onto the royal dog, who began to bark. Right on the ambassador’s horse. The ambassador’s horse got scared and ran off. The ambassador fell down and forgot why did he come here. He got up and went home empty-handed.
And the neighbor king immediately declared the war.
That’s why the traditions are so important.
