«Я тебя съем», или Дело ведет следователь Сверхъясно
"I will eat you!", or "This case is led by the investigator SuperClear"(Marina Aromshtam)
1. Do you see this big hill? There is an observatory in where a famous professor, Joo, works. Now look over there. Do you see one more hill and a tower on that hill? That tower belongs to Mr. Y. His illegal businesses include ten war factories, five secret airfields, a hundred secret agents and three criminal mafia clans. But nobody can charge him with these crimes. Mr.Y is very cunning. He wouldn’t say anything without a reason. He talks with his hands and with savage looks. His eyes say; "I will eat you alive”. Mr.Y is pointing his binoculars towards the observatory, looking at professor Joo. Professor Joo doesn’t notice that, observing known or not yet identified flying objects.
2. One of these objects comes closer, gradually slowing down. It almost stops in mid-air in front of the observatory. A small part detaches from this large object, and flies towards professor Joo. Is that a piece of rock? No, this is a compressed block of red soil from Mars. Professor’s heart beats fasten: He got a letter from an alien civilization. There is water on Mars! Even in the solid state, it is still water, a fundamental prerequisite of life! if there is a catastrophe, people from Earth can find asylum on Mars. Professor Joo started writing a letter to the International Association for the Development of Extraterrestrial Life: an exploration mission to Mars needs to be sent as soon as possible. In the meantime, Mr.Y is spying on him through his binoculars. His eyes are saying “I will eat you!”
3. Mr.Y sits in his cabinet and presses a call button. His secretary immediately appears. He looks like a filthy disheveled bird. Mr.Y hits a window with his finger and bangs his fist on a table. The disheveled secretary understands him without a single word, there is no need to explain anything. Mr.Y doesn’t want people from the Earth to start exploring Mars. He wants to keep this planet to himself. Mars should became an important military object. Even if professor Joo compiles a hundred scientific reports, he will not be able to justify his suggestion.
4. The night is dark. Professor Joo is asleep. His research of the immense Cosmos was very tiring. Professor is having a wonderful dream: astronauts are landing on Mars. Suddenly a suspicious car stops near the observatory. A strange person wearing a black mask gets out of the car. He crawls into the building and tampers with the alarm system. Look, he is getting into the very heart of the observatory, inside the office of Professor Joo. He searches the shelves, and opens all drawers. He seems to have found what he wanted… The observatory’s door slams, the engine roars and the car slides down the hill, disappearing from sight. Professor Joo wakes up. His beautiful dream has ended and something unexplainable starts, a real nightmare!
5. Investigator SuperClear arrives at the observatory. Superclear is his last name, that reflects his main trait - he tries to get everything clarified. Superclear is an experienced investigator. We can be sure that the criminal will not be able to hide behind his black mask.
6. Superclear made headway on the criminals. Special forces storm their nest, but the thief is only a pawn in a much larger game. He gave the stolen artifact to someone with disheveled hair… Most likely Mr.Y has something to do with that. Superclear decides to play fair. He puts his bulletproof vest on, takes his radio, hidden film camera and heads to the tower. At the entrance to the tower he shows his
police ID. A disheveled guy (maybe the thief himself) escorts Superclear to the office of Mr.Y. Mr.Y is sitting in a giant chair.
- Are you looking for the artifact? - asks the secretary politely, - but we don’t have it.
- Have you destroyed it? asked Superclear.
- Destroyed it? How could you even think about it! - answers the disheveled secretary in a kind voice - Nobody can prove it!
Super clear touches his gun like nothing happened and leaves the office. Mr.Y’s eyes follow his moves, saying “I will eat you!”.
7. There is a lot of commotion at the gate; a truck has just arrived. Strange sounds can be heard from
the inside of the truck. Workers unload heavy boxes. Or are these cages? There are monkeys inside! Why are they delivering monkeys to the tower? And what are these? Probably trash bags… Some human-like bones can be seen inside the bags. What does that mean? Superclear secretly takes one of the bags with him. He will bring it to his crime laboratory. Mr.Y will not be able to beat the police.
8. Two days later, news media announce that both Mr.Y and his secretary were arrested. It is impossible to prove that Mr.Y sells weapons or that his disheveled secretary destroyed the artifact. But both of them were caught poaching monkeys. Nobody knows why Mr. Y needed so many monkeys, the investigators are still looking at it.
