Why Do We Follow Traditions?
For the last 200 years, all the kings had fried eggs and tea with sugar for breakfast.
"Today I will have orange juice, instead!" - the king once stated.
All the people did not expect this sudden decision. The cook frowned but he did as he was told. Soon, the orange juice was standing on the table.
The king, ignoring everyone's reaction, kept going with his breakfast.
"What are our plans for today?"
"At noon we have a meeting with the ambassador from the neighboring kingdom."
"That's no fun!" - exclaimed the king, as he jerked his arms. He knocked the orange juice off the table and it spilled all over the royal mouse that was scurrying past.
The royal cat was waiting for the mouse at the entrance.
The mouse smelled like oranges. The cat meowed and jumped out the window.
He landed right on the royal dog, who started barking.
The horse of the ambassador got scared and ran off.
The ambassador fell and forgot why he came. He stood up and left the kingdom.
So, he claimed war.
