Once upon a time the animals from plush animal row decided to pick themselves a king. Everyone at once agreed that the king had to be a lion but which lion? The problem was there were three lions: one was of giant size, the other one had a very loud voice and the last one was small and quiet. "Our king shall be the giant lion" - said the ancient turtle which appeared in the plush animal row one century ago - "Such a king will be feared by everyone: the waterproof, the tin and even the robot transformers".
That's how giant lion became king. At once the new king pushed a few monkeys out of the best spot, got on and shone in all of his greatness. All the other animals got into a pile on the floor and bowed in front of the lion. They were all thinking: "Now this is a real king!"
But suddenly the king was bought. The customer was six years old, his name was Senya and he was very short. He would never have seen the lion if he hadn't climbed up to the tallest shelf.
"We lost our king" - said the ancient turtle - "But we shall not be sad. Life keeps going. Our new king shall be the lion with the loud voice."
Everyone agreed, they really wanted a king. The lion with the loud voice all at once roared with a very loud voice: "R-R-R-R-R-R!" so hard that not only did the plush animals got quiet but also the waterproof, tin solders and the robot tramsformers. Even the toy rifles stopped firing and the tanks stopped making noise, two check-out ladies fainted and in the office of the manager the big wooden table started shaking.
The stuffed animals looked at the loud lion and thought: "Now this is a real king!"
At that time into the children's world store came a boy named Vasili. In his ears he had earplugs but he still heard the lion because he roared so loudly. Vasili definitely bought the lion - he loved everything loud.
Poor animals - the loss left them stunned for a while. Many cried even though water is harmful for stuffed animals. And then the ancient turtle said: "Don't cry stuffed animals, we still have a lion. Though he is small and quiet he is still a lion." That's how the king of the animals became the small and quiet lion. He was also very shy - never jumped out in front and never looked out from behind the elephant and hippos backs. The customers never noticed him and he kept being king there even now.
