This is my grandmother.
When she is cooking I see only her back and apron’s cord.
My little brother Kit likes to pull the cords.
My grandmother never berates him for that.
She turn to us from the oven and treats us with toasts.
My grandmum’s toasts are most tasty.
It is because she salted them well.
My mum says that it is not health. I do not believe it.
I think she is afraid that there will be nothing left for her.
